
After decades of charity adverts asking for £2 to help dig wells and bring water to Africa, Western nations have finally succeeded in this incredible task.
Thanks to their unceasing efforts to increase the effects of climate change, the Sahara desert flooded for the first time in 50 years in 2024, and current predictions are that it could flood again in 2025 and every year after that.
Charities are currently spending millions of the well-building money they raised to pivot their marketing to raise money for flood defences.
Oscar Owens, a supermarket assistant from Newport, said “It’s madness. First they wanted water, now they have too much. Some people are never happy.”
