Description
Homeless fifteen year old Bethany has always been able to see things no one else can. Fairies, monsters, ghosts, and magic are as real to her as buildings, cars, and other people. No one ever believed her, just as no one believed her a year ago when she saw Santa Claus kidnapping her little brother, Tom, for being naughty.
This Christmas she’s going to get Tom and all the other missing naughty children back. She has her team: Scraps, the stray dog that adopted her; Threat, a mysterious and bloodthirsty spirit cursed into the form of a small porcelain doll; Ànrach, a bauchan, determined to free his people from their slavery in Santa’s grotto; Amy, a terminally ill human teen and Bethany’s new best friend; and Reothadh, a dragon.
She has her plan: cross the fairy realm of Winter in search of the Demon of Christmas to discover Claus’s secret weakness, then steal it and use it to kill Santa.
Plan. Team. Dragon. What else could she possibly need?
