Rebel Wrath is punk?
Yes, Rebel Wrath is punk in publishing. Activism through art: created from anger, shared with love.

Scream!
Rebel Wrath began as a way to publish Caledonia Fife’s books, and grew into so much more than the original concept of activism through art. It’s community, it’s raising awareness, it’s awesome fucking stories, it’s trans voices amplified so loud we’re screaming. Scream with us!
Exist!
With the government and media set against you, to be trans in modern Western society is to be a rebel. You are rebelling against gender norms and government policies, against terfs and nazis, and possibly your family. You’re already part of the rebellion just by existing. Exist with us!
Laugh!
Satire is born through anger and frustration. It aims at the powerful, mocks their hypocrisy, and fights against the injustices of the world. We can’t defeat their $$$, we can’t vote for supportive parties if none exist, and technically eating them is cannibalism, dammit! So we mock and laugh at them, and they hate it. Laugh at them with us!

What the punk?
Rebel Wrath embraces the punk values of DIY, subversion, anti-establishment, and community. As well as books, there are articles, merch, and a growing community of rebels. Join us on Discord!
Why the punk?
Rebel Wrath is punk af, and punk is subversive and politically conscious, community based and DIY’d. It’s anti-establishment, rule-breaking fearlessness. It punches up, unless it’s targeting Nazi’s, in which case it punches them straight in the face! It’s accessible to all, open to all, and spreads whatever good it can. We’re countering the doom and gloom of modern life by spreading good news, check it out!

Rebel Wrath began as a way for Caledonia Fife to publish their own e-books. It quickly became more than that.
Most traditional publishers aren’t interested in weird satires that centre trans experiences and mock the establishment. The risk is too high, the reward appears too little. As such, self-publishing was always the intended route for these books.
Satire is a difficult thing to market. It’s fiction, but it constantly butts up against reality. It is always breaking the 4th wall, though sometimes this is more subtle than other times. The satirical articles on here were born as a way to market the books. Fast to write (and read) and easily shared, and if you enjoy them you might enjoy the books.
When Caledonia discovered they had fibromyalgia and couldn’t be as active with activism as they once had been, they knew their idea of activism through art could be taken much further than they had ever dreamed.
Rebel Wrath is more than just books. It’s more than just satirical articles. It’s more than just the best looking, most comfortable t-shirts you’ve ever worn.
Rebel Wrath is punk.
Punk is community. Punk is all the rebels reading this. All the people their government has outlawed for the crime of existing differently. Punk is never alone.
Punk is subversive. It is not accepting that our governments have made our lives hard, impossible, or illegal. It’s not lying down without a fight. Punk never dies.
Punk is DIY. Whether that be transitioning, publishing, protesting, or even our clothing, we can do it ourselves, or in our communities. Reject the mega-corps, with their billionaire CEOs in their ivory towers, and what you can’t do alone we’ll do together, communally. Punk does things.
Punk is politically conscious. It’s left wing, and embraces anarchy and mutual aid. It supports racial and sexual equality, free thought, animal rights, and non-conformity. It abhors selling out, white supremacy, authoritarianism, classism, eugenics, and transphobia. It’s against consumeratism, capitalism, war, imperialism, gentrification, racism, and homophobia. Punk cares.
it is still the whole anarchy thing about it, taking responsibility for yourself, not being afraid to get up and do something, not being stopped by the rules of society
Way, 2020
